New Dig vavle on the left, old valve on the rightĪdding Rapid Recovery rebound damping to the forks, the new Dig valve should greatly improve the damping. SID will be offered in 80-120mm travel while the Revelation will come in 120-150mm lengths with both at exceptionally light weights. Like the Pike, the new forks are available in all wheel sizes meaning 26″ isn’t dead just yet. In addition to XLoc, the Monarch XX has a rebound control knob mounted to the shock body.Īfter the reintroduction of RockShox’ Pike as a new AM/Enduro fork, SID and Revelation get upgraded adding the 27.5 size as well. Having the controls for both shocks in one lever immediately results in better utilization of your suspension’s lock outs as you no longer have to take your hands off the bar to use them. If you’ve never ridden a bike with twin lockouts before, it can really change the way you ride the bike as you can be riding full squish and then lock out at the flick of a switch for a quick climb or sprint. The XLoc Full Sprint remote features a compression adjust for the front fork and uses a Connectamajig coupler for bleed-less attaching to the rear shock. When asked if it was retrofittable, we were told that only the new rear shocks will be compatible, but some of the current SID and Revelation forks could be updated with the lock out cartridge. XLoc Sprint will be available on new SID and Relation XX forks and Monarch XX rear shocks. Joining the likes of Scott’s TwinLock only with hydraulic, RockShox now offers the ability to lock out both the front and rear suspension simultaneously with the push of a single button. While the new fork updates are definitely worth mentioning, the new XLoc Sprint is what really is intriguing. At this point, most of the Rockshox XC and trail category has received an update with new damping, and the option for a dual lockout through a single lever. Overall, I am super happy with my purchase at Movatik and my Bell helmet.Shortly after introducing the all new Pike and updating the Monarch Plus, RockShox is introducing even more suspension tech to get the most out of your bike. I fell on my face one time, minor laceration on my leg, road rash and scrapes on the front of my helmet, but I really don't think there was much of an impact, and without any questions, Bell gave me a 50% discount code.ĭownside seems like spending the 150$ on an auto-tinting visor seems like the only way to go, but I haven't made that investment yet. Call them up, and theyll hook you up with a killer discount on the website on a new helmet. I will always purchase Bell helmets as they have the crash replacement policy, so if you ever bump your noggin, the last thing you need to worry about is another helmet. It pulls a little when you lift your face up, but thats expected with a visor like this, and you have your visor tipped down for the sun most of the time anyway. I am a huge fan of full face, and this is the perfect mix between Dirt Bike and street use. It appears the color I picked may have gotten removed, as I don't see it anymore, so maybe that's why, but it's the one in the picture above, Black and Safety yellow on the bottom and I love it. I paid so little, I'm not quite sure they made any money. First off, Movatik's deal I got was incredible. Purchased my first on-off and realized none of my helmets matched, and thats how I found this.
